*Update – Saruman the White Collectible is now available to Pre-order*
Today, via their official site, our friends at Sideshow Collectibles released a full preview of their upcoming Saruman the White Premium Format. This Premium Format is going to be an outstanding addition to our Middle-earth collections with a fantastic likeness to Sir Christopher Lee in his role as Saruman the White. Fans will be able to Pre-Order this Premium Format this thursday in Sideshow’s weekly newsletter for a solid price of $399.99. If you’re into the exclusive options as I am, this collectible comes with switchable hands. One of these will have him holding the Palantir, which appears to light up and another with his hand stretched out. As soon as it goes up for order on Thursday we will let you know. Sideshow Collectibles have released a production sneak-peek at the next items to be released in their The Lord of the Rings Premium Format line. Joining the ranks of the amazing 1:4 statues is a statue of the role played perfectly by Sir Christopher Lee, which is none other than Saruman the White. No word on when this will be up for order but we did get this amazing video showing what is in-store for all of us. Once we get more information we will pass it on to you.

Some of my favorite moments from The Lord of the Rings are the moments within the Mines of Moria. I especially love when we meet the Balrog. That moment on screen I know blew many of us away. Now, our friend and amazing artist Jerry Vanderstelt has created a stunning print of this really cool looking creature. This print captures the Balrog as he roams around Moria showing off all his power. You can get The Balrog right now for $75 for the Paper Edition and $180 for the Canvas Edition. The Balrog is yet another stellar print from Jerry Vanderstelt joining prints like Sauron, Aragorn/King of the Dead, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, The Return of the King, and of course The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
Our friends at Weta Workshop have released their latest newsletter and its jam packed with information. Tonight, we get two new pre-orders and a run down of when we will start seeing items for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. The first item that came up for pre-order is the next Hobbit Hole helping fans create their own Hobbiton with Gandalf’s Cutting. This great little piece is named for being the Hobbit Hole that is nearest when Gandalf enters Hobbiton. The other item that went up for pre-order is a beatuiful art print capturing The Argonath. This stunning print was created by Gust Hunter and captures the Kings of Old as the Fellowship goes by. You can order Gandalf’s Cutting for $40 and it will ship in late November and you can also order The Argonath art print for $35 which is in-stock.
Also within tonights newsletter, Weta tells fans when they can expect to start ordering products that are tied in with the second film in the Hobbit Trilogy. These products will start to be released from next Monday afternoon here in the US, which is next Tuesday morning in New Zealand/Australia. So starting from next week fans can expect to order at least one new statue, which will be the Elven King Thranduil himself.

Next week signals the launch of the first items from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
We have previously launched Bilbo and Bombur Barrel Riders as exclusive preview products, but 15 October signals the start of our range proper!
We have a range of products lined up for the next few months and while we want to keep some of them a surprise, one or two have seen the light of day at conventions and events.
King Thranduil 1/6 scale statue is one such piece and we will start taking orders for this striking Limited Edition piece:
