Like always, Comic-Con is set to open with hoards and masses about to storm the white towers of the San Diego Convention Center. Comic-Con, a world showcase of pop-culture, has been trying to land Peter Jackson for the last decade since it was announce that he would helm the three-film adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s “Lord of The Rings.” Jackson sent along video to the mega-show for both LOTR and King Kong but for the first time the now big-time director will make the show in person. 
It is official, TheOneRing.net has been officially invited to present a panel at the 2009 edition of Comic-Con in San Diego on its first day of programming on Thursday, July 23 at 10:30 a.m. in room 7AB. That great news gets even better because we can announce that Weta’s own Richard Taylor is very likely to join in!
