Daniel McNicoll has directed a documentary, “Reclaiming The Blade,” that explores the sword and its standing in contemporary society and uses many examples from popular culture to do it. Weta is pleased to host one of the world’s most acclaimed Tolkien illustrators and designers, John Howe, for a book signing at the Weta Cave. Currently visiting Weta Workshop, John Howe was of course also one of the principal designers on Peter Jackson’s The Lord Of The Rings. During my association with TheOneRing.net I have often felt very fortunate to know great people and be in great places. Sometimes I have been lucky enough to have my camera along.

David writes: For those fans who missed out on tickets for the Fellowship of the Ring live London Philharmonic Orchestra/HD performance in London this month (and there were many), I have some important news.
If you (like me) have always regarded The Two Towers as in fact the greatest of the three rings, then you should know that the public sale of tickets for TTT (LPO/HD) performance go on sale on the 13th April 2009. The performance dates are 23 and 24 April 2010.
