It’s an exciting time for Lord of the Rings fans. We’re just days away from the release of the fabled “Extended Editions” on gorgeous 1080p Blu-ray. The films are rendered in the highest definition, with do many new scenes across the trilogy it can be considered its own movie. There are enough bonus features to lay tracks from here to Rivendell and back, clocking in at (roughly) two-thousand four hundred and fifty-five hours.
For those of you living in the Los Angeles region, here’s something you can look forward to before a giant earthquake knocks you into the sea: an all-day-and-into-the-night LOTR event! Middle Earth Midnight Madness is happening at the Best Buy in West L.A. Noire’, the reason I’m pointing you in the direction of this game is because mainly the actor who played Lord Denethor in the return of the king John Noble is staring as Leland Monroe but in a way like you have never seen before. This game uses face capture, it is the first time we have seen it in the industry and you will be shocked at how realistic his ingame face looks this surely will be a great step forward and it is also great to see a reconcilable face within the game. Lord of the Rings fans will see a small LOTR reunion when the May 6th season finale of FOX’s FRINGE hits the airwaves. Actor John Noble (Denethor) has been one of the highlights of the sci-fi series, winning critical praise for his unique and always captivating role as Dr. Walter Bishop. According to TVLine.com, joining the cast for the season finale is actor Brad Dourif, who played Grima Wormtongue in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
