Ringer White Raven writes to us with this little snippet of some activity going on at the Roxy Theatre in Wellington where the NZ premiere of the Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies will occur on December 2 at 8.30am.
I heard the Roxy Cinema in Miramar is doing some 3D projection of custom-made Hobbit footage on their front facade as part of the NZ premiere screening. I saw some fire breath projected on the building a few days back, and now there’s a scaffolding erected at the front. Seems like a test is about to take place soon.
The Roxy premiere will show an advanced screening of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies to an audience of fans and film production cast and crew, including Weta Workshop co-founder Sir Richard Taylor.
