With only 10 days left until the largest gathering of Middle-earth actors, artists and other talents converge on Salt Lake City for FantasyCon, TheOneRing.net is joining the ranks for the event’s July 4 parade. TORn submitted an entry in the walking parade that features 40 or more groups of costumers marching the morning of July 4 from the streets of the city into the mammoth convention hall where the celebration of Fantasy awaits.
The parade, starting at 8:30 a.m., features Royd Tolkien, grandson of J.R.R. Tolkien as its Grand Marshall. TORn has joined the ranks too and is looking for cosplayers and costumers who have Middle-earth gear ready to go, to join in the Tolkien group. With Ghostbusters and Resident Evil costume groups prepared to wow observers, it feels required that Middle-earth is represented as well. TORn will be active at the event with a booth, plenty of coverage and staffers on hand during programming.

Call time to show up for the parade will be at 7:30am
I will check in for all the TORn confirmed Cosplayers so that we are staged together in the parade
After I have checked in, we will proceed to the Staging area
