There’s always a lot going on in the Hobbit Discussion Board right now, so it’s difficult to fight the urge to highlight the whole thing! But there’s so much more on the other Boards as well! Like over in the Main Discussion Board; Sunflower has asked a thought-provoking question about the “textual ghosts” of LOTR… about characters in Tolkien’s works that are only briefly mentioned and how those characters could be expanded in The Hobbit or The Lord of the Rings. While over on the LotR Movie Discussion Board, Mooseboy018 leads the discussion on connections, parallels and other fun details noticed in the films… like Frodo and Sam each pulling the other from the brink of disaster, or Gollum with a worm at Dead Marshes and Sméagol with a worm at the beginning of ROTK.
