A WEST Berkshire actor has landed a dream role in the hotly anticipated forthcoming film adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s famous novel, ‘The Hobbit’.
Thirty-year-old Adam Brown, of Hungerford, better known in Newbury as one half of the successful comedy stage duo Plested and Brown, exclusively told Newburytoday.co.uk that he is thrilled to have been selected to play the part of Ori, alongside James Nesbitt and Martin Freeman.
Mr Brown, a former pupil of John O’Gaunt Community Technology College in Hungerford, said: “I’m hugely excited to be involved and it still hasn’t really sunk in yet.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for me as an actor and will be an amazing experience working with the rest of the cast and Peter Jackson.”
