The Mythopoeic Society is a literary society dedicated to the study of JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, Charles Williams, the Inklings, and general fantasy.
Mythcon, the Mythopoeic Society’s annual conference, is a four day event that features panels, papers, a Banquet with presentation of the Mythopoeic Awards; an Art Show, Dealers’ Room, Auction; costumes, music, short plays, films, games, good talk & fun.
For budding writers and artists, Mythcon is the perfect place to meet experts in these fields. Myth and Fantasy film and book enthusiasts will meet like-minded people in a relaxed atmosphere.
Time: 12 noon on Friday 9 (July 17) to 12 noon on Monday (July 20).
Rates: Full Conference $80. Mythopoeic Society members $70. Students (with I.D.) $60.
Single Day: Friday (½ day) $15. Saturday $28. Sunday $28. Monday (½ day) $15.
