Mithril – Tauriel fighting off Spiders in the forest. Foreshadowed by the Lego set.
MrCere – Spiders. Elves. This confirms that Bilbo will not defeat them or trick them and may not use his ring at all in this sequence.
ImladrisRose – Can’t wait to discover her character, I love creative liberties when done right.
Kelvarhin – Tauriel battling the spiders. Could be in the lead up to them encountering/capturing the Dwarves.
Sarumann – Go Tauriel! I love Legolas, but this move was way smoother than anything he ever did. Yeah, I said it!
ImladrisRose – Bard has quite the bow and arrow, love the detail on the arrow.
Garfeimao – Yay, it’s a longbow, woohoo Bard.

MrCere – Well hello iconic hero with a bow. I wonder if we are meant to learn early on that Bard is a Bowman in more than name only. I doubt this is THE arrow draw and is instead a way to show the audience that he is capable. Bard is also saying “Dragonfire & ruin,” followed by “That is what you will bring upon us!”
ImladrisRose – He doesn’t look fun.
Entmaiden – Who is this? Bard or maybe Beorn in man-form?
Garfeimao – It’s Kili wielding a Big Stick and making it work for him.
MrCere – Is this a young, hot dwarf?

Elessar – Nice Elven Armor. Weta, I need a statue of this as well.
Entmaiden – That’s elven-armor.
Garfeimao – Definitely an Elf watchpost near the Woodland Realm, and these Elves mean business. That is some amazing armor, shields, swords, the whole package is great looking.
Gramma – I love this armour! The helm looks like it could give 95% protection – good to have with a Dragon in the neighbourhood.
Kelvarhin – Love the armour the Elves are wearing. Much more war-like than the Elves of Lothlorien wore.
Mithril – Cool Elven armor. Looks like they are in Rivendell. It’s outside by trees. Is it showing that the Rivendell Elves are getting ready to join the fight, too? Or is it just the Mirkwood Elves outside the Halls? More likely.
MrCere – Mirkwood guards then? My favorite elven helm design in any Middle-earth film.
Rud the Spud – Armoured elves? Is this a Mirkwood border patrol? Very fantastical designs of armour. Too much?
Sarumann – Loving the shield designs! My only criticism here is that, with the HD quality of the shot, they look almost plastic.
ImladrisRose – I hope that the Noble Collection or someone sells these shields.
Demosthenes – Similarities to the leaf armour of the Noldor and the Galadhrim. But it’s definitely not the same.
Kelvarhin – Demosthenes commented last night that it looks like the armour of the Noldorin Elves, with its leaf motifs. I missed it on my first viewing, as I was laughing at my son (he was standing next to me going Wow! Wow! Wow!), but I must say I agree.
MrCere – Conflict.
